Fine hearing

Product Design

Many people suffer from hearing loss – including younger generations. Hearing aids are an essential tool for participating fully in daily life. However, acceptance of their use is low as they are still associated with a stigma. It is therefore important to lower the inhibition threshold for hearing advice.

“Measure” is a system that facilitates the diagnosis of hearing loss and the precise adaptation of hearing aids to individual factors – equally efficient in the practice environment and during home visits.

The challenge was to design a professional system that offers freedom in the positioning of the individual modules in the clinical environment and is both compact and robust enough for easy transportation.
When optimizing various aspects of efficiency, accuracy and comfort in handling the device, we always kept both sides – patients and specialists – in mind. This allowed us to simplify the testing and fitting process and make it more pleasant for both sides.

The system of stackable components with integrated cable management creates a space-saving and tidy arrangement in the test environment. The design embodies a professional and reliable aesthetic that promotes comfort and trust between the parties involved without taking up too much space.

“Measure” is also optimized in terms of product sustainability.
As the design of the individual components is based on the use of identical parts, high-quality, durable materials can be used on the one hand, while repairability is improved and waste is reduced at the same time. The modular housing design also includes future modules and thus supports the possibility of upgrading and customizing the system. The best thing? Everything comes together in timeless design quality.

This has enabled us to develop a system that already combines a wide range of functions and can be further expanded in the coming years.
