How to make an antenna really smart

Mobile networks require massive quantities of antennas and base stations. Huawei asked us to develop a “small cell” station for them from scratch. Using a deep analytical process, we learned about the complexity of the product’s context involving outdoor conditions, installation scenarios, use cycles, governmental regulations, commercial viability, engineering and manufacturing issues.

We pushed the result towards maximum unobtrusiveness by implementing restrained shapes and precise lines — yet on the inside the small cell is full of smart innovations for faster installation, better maintenance and smarter cooling.
